About S3 Hockey Development

S3 Hockey is here to give young hockey players the skills required to perform at the highest level. We strive to instill a strong work ethic and an unwavering mindset that girl hockey players will benefit from, now and in the future. We strive to provide our players with the best coaches, that ensure an intelligent approach to all our sessions. While providing female coaching role models who demonstrate leadership and strong work ethic, we are enhancing the value of hockey. We believe it is crucial to connect our young athletes with female role models, to continue to push them on and off the ice. We want to influence the next generation of girl's hockey and be able to be a resource for them through their developmental stages. S3 teaches fundamentals of skating, stick handling, and shooting, and we teach in a way that builds confidence and leads to continuous improvement.

Our philosophy is to provide elite hockey skating instruction to players of all skill levels to help elevate their competitive advantage on the ice. We believe power skating is by far the most significant skill a player can have. Adding this skill set to each players overall hockey skill tool box our ultimate goal. We focus on a repetitive and progressive training style to develop consistency. We aim to establish the proper muscle movement with specific skill drills, so that each of our hockey players incorporates these attributes as they develop over the years. Edges are challenged and enhanced every session with S3, using control and overspeed drills.

Our goal is to develop each girls hockey repertoire so they can perform skills very well, at speed, under fatigue and under pressure consistently in competitive conditions.
